Child Find Notice - Proportionate Share Meeting

The Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) requires that the Casa Grande Union High School District provide information to the public regarding the provision of equitable special education services to parentally placed private school students with disabilities. Home-schooled children with disabilities are considered in the same category and are also eligible for services under this provision.

Parentally placed students with disabilities in private schools or home-schooled students are not entitled to a free appropriate public education (FAPE), but the district will provide services based on a proportionate share of federal funds. To plan accordingly for the 2026-2027 school year, Casa Grande Union High School District would like to meet with parents/guardians of 9-12th grade students who suspect that their child has a disability which requires an evaluation. Please join us September 21, 2026 from 6:00-7:00pm at Casa Grande Union High School District Office board room, 1362 N Casa Grande Ave. Casa Grande.  If you have any questions, please contact Lee Brown at 520-316-3660x1110.

Dear Students and Families,

As we begin the school year, we'd like to send a friendly reminder about the CGUHS Dress Code. Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment where all students can focus on learning.

Please take a moment to review the attached dress code guide with your student before coming to school. It includes examples of clothing and accessories that are not permitted on campus, along with other important dress code expectations.

A reminder regarding hoodies: Hooded sweatshirts are permitted on campus. However, unless weather conditions make them necessary outdoors, hoods should remain down while inside school buildings and during the school day. This helps us maintain a safe campus by ensuring students can be easily identified.

We appreciate your partnership in helping students arrive at school dressed appropriately, ready to learn, and prepared for a successful school day. If you have any questions regarding the dress code, please don't hesitate to contact the school.

Thank you for your continued support of CGUHS! 💙💛🐾

📢 Student Reminder: IDs, Hall Passes & Restroom Procedures

Hi Cougars! 🐾

As we continue through the school year, we'd like to remind everyone of a few important expectations that help keep our campus safe and running smoothly.

✅ Wear your school ID at all times.
Your ID should be visible while you're on campus. If a staff member asks to see your ID, please have it on and ready.

✅ Use a hall pass or restroom pass.
If you leave class for any reason, you must have a pass with you.

✅ Follow the 10-minute rule.
Students should not leave class during the first 10 minutes or the last 10 minutes of the class period unless approved by school staff.

✅ Use your designated restroom.
Please use the restroom assigned to your classroom area. Review the attached restroom map so you know which restroom to use during the school day.

Thank you for doing your part to help keep CGUHS a safe, respectful, and positive place to learn. We appreciate your cooperation 💙💛🐾
