CONGRATULATIONS to our cheer comp team for winning the Division II All-Girl Cheer Small Squad Championship!!

 

Congratulations to our 4 wrestlers…Jordan Busch, Gabriel Jolly, Rafael & Damien Quiroz, they are heading to STATE this Thursday @ Prescott, Az.

 

Attention Students, if you are interested in participating in a Spring sport such as Track, Softball, Baseball, Boys & Girls Tennis please turn in a sports physical in with Mrs. Soto or Randy Robbins today. Tryouts begin TODAY and you must turn in a sports physical for tryouts! 

 

Also, Girls Tennis tryouts today from 5-7 pm on the tennis courts & Boys Tennis tryouts from 3:30-5:30 pm. See Mrs. Soto in Room B121 for a tryout slip. A sports physical must be turned in first. Thank you!

 

 

All track athletes please meet in the small gym today at 3:20 for a mandatory meeting!!

 

 The JCAC (Anime) Club will be having its next meeting tomorrow, February 5th from 3-5 pm in Rood D107.

Monday: Is matching Day

Tuesday: Is show your love for either sports, art, video games or school.

Wednesday: Predators vs. Prey (Upper: Predators & Under is prey)

Thursday: Valentine Colors

Friday: Black & Blue Day (if you think senior girls will win powderpuff wear black, If you think Junior girls will win wear Blue)

Ciera Duran, The ASU Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program Coordinator and Recruiter, will be here next Tuesday, February 5th in the Olaski during 1st period (8:10 am-9:10 am) to give CGUHS Students information about the summer program.  Students interested in applying for the program must meet the following requirements:

 

Be a full-time student enrolled in college track courses

Completed their sophomore year and three years of math (Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II by the end of the spring 2019 semester

Have an unweighted Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher

Minimum grades of B in math and Science classes

Seniors who apply must be attending ASU in Fall of 2019

 

The application deadline is Friday February 15, 2019
