Hiking Club

The Hiking Club, which first hit the trail in the fall of 2005, is a group devoted to one thing:  hiking.  Each month, the club sets out to different parts of the state to enjoy the scenery and work up a healthy sweat.  Over the years, the club has hiked to such notable landmarks as Humphreys Peak, the highest point in Arizona at 12,633 feet, Oak CreekCanyon near Sedona, the Mogollon Rim, and the SuperstitionMountains.  Additionally, most years the club has spent spring break backpacking down the Grand Canyon.  The club is open to any enrolled student -- and it is not uncommon for parents to come along.  For additional information, email Mr. Brodsky at mbrodsky@cguhs.org.
