Born and raised in a
small farming community in Iowa. Married right out of high school we farmed
and operated a dairy farm in southern Iowa.
Moved to Arizona
in 1985 and began working for Abbott Laboratories. After completing my Bachelor’s Degree
in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix,
I continued to work for Abbott Laboratories for 18 years where I retired
in 2003. I substituted for CGUHS.
With a love for children, I decided to pursue a certificate in Business
and Marketing. I began teaching in 2004 and this is my 3rd
year. My husband, of 38 years, is
an Arizona Highway Patrolman and we have raised four Arizona college graduates. We now have seven grandchildren.
I love all ages of
children and hope to make a difference in their lives by sharing my
experiences and passions. I look
forward to making a difference in the community by encouraging each
student that crosses my path, to be the best. Together we can build a society that can
give back to the community by being productive caring citizens.
