Mrs. Telles has been a
teacher at Casa
Grande Union
High School since
the early 1990s. She has worn many
hats at CGUHS, but currently serves our students by teaching our
Television Broadcast Program, advisor CGUHS Student Council, and assistant
advisor for SkillsUSA (the career and technical student organization for
students in Industrial Arts Careers classes).
She is the Career and
Technical Education Department Chairperson. Mrs. Telles is also the
Chairperson of the CGUHS Tech Prep Site Team. Tech Prep is program by which students
take classes at Casa Grande Union
High School and receive college
credit at Central
Arizona College. The Television Broadcast Program is
just one of many outstanding programs at CGUHS that earn articulated Tech
Prep credit.
Mrs. Telles was awarded
the honor in 2005 as “Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year” in Casa Grande.
