This is my 6th
year teaching at Casa
Grande Union
High School. I teach Culinary Arts 1-2. Born and raised in Casa Grande, my
parents still live here. I am an
alumni of CGUHS. Attended Point Loma
Nazarene University
in San Diego, California
and did some masters work at the University of Arizona. Married and have two daughters, both
attending college. My teaching
career has covered many areas of Family and Consumer Sciences. From teaching foods, child development,
sewing and interior design to designing culinary labs, being principal of
a private high school to becoming 2007 FACS Ed teacher of the year. My field has changed over the
years. Not teaching just foods but
introducing the culinary world to budding chefs and developing their
palates. I really enjoy teaching
at CGUHS and helping students fulfill their destiny.
