I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in the metro Atlanta area, graduating from Milton High School. I served as a missionary for the LDS Church
in the Texas-San Antonio (Spanish) Mission
for two years, following which I studied Spanish at Brigham
Young University
in Provo, Utah, where I received my B.A.
degree. I then served as an
officer in the US Navy for four years, rising to the rank of
lieutenant. Once I left the Navy,
I began teaching Spanish, which I have been doing now for the last 15
years. I moved to Casa Grande in
1999, taught at Coolidge High School for the previous eight years, and
am very happy to be at Casa
Grande Union
High School now.
