Hello. My name is Paul
Machelor. I live here in Casa Grande and have taught English at the
high school for four years. I teach Honors 10s, AP Juniors, and a
dual-credit Senior Class (dual-credit with CAC).
This is my 21st
year of teaching. I have taught in upstate New
York, Paraguay,
Brazil, and Tucson (in the
Amphitheater district). All of my experiences have been excellent.
I have learned to speak good Spanish and Portuguese and traveled all over
Latin America. Lucky me. I
am married and have one daughter. We like Casa Grande a good deal.
I am an avid
outdoorsman and love to read and talk about important issues. I
believe in the power of education, deeply. I am a strong supporter
of public education in the United States. At
CGUHS, I am the advisor to the National Honor Society and the Invisible
Children club. Service to the community is important to me and I encourage
my students to ‘get involved’.
Helping young people
open up to a lifetime of learning, to becoming committed readers and
capable writers, is of great concern. I look forward to
communicating with you.
