2009 TEAMS
(Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Math and Science)
Sixteen
students from CGUHS traveled to ASU on Friday, February 27, to participate in
the annual “Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Math and Science” (TEAMS)
competition. TEAMS is an annual nation-wide competition sponsored by the
Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS).
The students
competed against students from high schools around the state in a two-part, day
long competition. They were required to solve college-freshmen level
engineering problems using all of their knowledge from their math and science
classes as well as drawing on their own creativity and ingenuity.

Casa Grande B Team: Cristino Duran (2009), Jeff Fallas (2009), Amanda
Morris (2012), Colter Culwell (2012), Anesia Estrada (2012)
Scores for the
morning session were received the same day.
The Casa Grande A Team scored 16 and the Casa
Grande B Team scored 20. (The number one
