Principal
Ms. Edna Morris

Edna
Morris has 22 years experience in education. She earned her Bachelors in
Science from the University of Arizona, Masters in Educational Leadership
from Northern Arizona University and is currently working on her Doctorate
in Curriculum and Instruction at Argosy University. She is currently the
Assistant Superintendent for Academic Affairs and will work with all
educational programs to include: Exceptional Student Services, English
Acquisition Services, Testing, Curriculum & Instruction, Professional
Development and Grants.
Along with the Assistant Superintendency,
Ms. Morris is also the Principal of Casa Grande Union High School. Her focus
is on instruction and curriculum in order to support student learning. The
new school motto, "Opening a World of Possibilities" is the goal for the
year. Ms. Morris welcomes parents and community to network with her on her
Twitter page to discuss thoughts and ideas regarding student achievement.

Assistant Principal Ms. Linda Bushor
Extension - 3220
Ms. Bushor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing and a Master in Education from Arizona State University. In addition she holds an Administrative Certification in Education and an English Language Learner Endorsement. She is a faculty member at the University of Phoenix where she teaches Master level education courses. As an ASU student she was nominated for ASU Senior of the Year, Marketing Senior of the Year, and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors. She hales from the Midwest and is a mother of three children.
As the Associate Principal her responsibilities include the planning, administering, and supervision of student and teacher scheduling, grade reporting, room assignments and data. Other duties include supervising the activities and procedures followed by the registrar; coordinating the opening and closing of school activities; assist the principal in the development, coordination, and evaluation of the school’s total instruction program; produce and publish parent newsletters and student newspaper; supervise and administer discipline procedures for CGUH students in the 12th grade; supervise and evaluate the certified staff in the counseling department, teaching staff, interventionists, and classified staff under administration; coordinates and supervises Academic Banquets and graduation; oversees 504 plans and the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Program; and works along side other administrators to evaluate policy and procedure. |

Assistant Principal
Ms. Barbara Cardinal

Barbara
Cardinal comes to CGUHS with 21 years of classroom experience and 22 years
of coaching experience. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a minor in Psychology.
Barbara received a Master in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona

Assistant Principal Ms. Kerri Wright
Extension - 3367
Kerri Wright brings 12 years of experience in education to her role at Casa Grande Union High School. She has worked as a classroom teacher, state level education specialist, and regional education consultant focused on school improvement initiatives. Kerri holds a B.A. and M.A. in Educational Leadership and Administration.
Kerri will contribute to Casa Grande Union High School as an Assistant Principal focused on Instruction and Teacher Professional

Athletic Director/Interventionist
Mr. Tomas Pinon
Extension -
Tomas Pinon is
a Casa Grande native who was born and raised in Casa Grande, where he
attended Ocotillo Elementary, Casa Grande Junior High School and Casa Grande
Union High School.
Mr.
Pinon has 13 years of experience as an educator for Casa Grande Union High
School. He taught Spanish for 6 years where he enjoyed not only sharing the
language but also the cultural uniqueness of the Latin American countries.
He then left the classroom and began working as an Attendance
Interventionist in the office where he helped students remain in school and
maintain their credits. Mr. Pinon was chosen to become the Athletic
Director for CGUHS beginning with the 2009-2010 school year.
Mr.
Pinon is a graduate of Central Arizona College, where he received an
Associates degree, the University of Arizona, where he received a Bachelor
of Arts degree and Northern Arizona University, where he received his
Masters degree. |
